I’m not exactly sure how PayPerPost got another $7 million dollars to play with, other than that investors are just loving online advertising right now. The one thing I will credit PayPerPost for doing is being original, despite all their copycats right now, at least they had the moxie to not do another pay per click Adsense clone. Personally, I believe PayPerPost is a viable way to make money off of your blog, you WILL make money by using PayPerPost. However when did money become the sole reason for people to write? While I’m in the boat that people that produce original and unique content should be compensated for their work, I don’t believe that the sole reason to write is to make yourself a few bucks. I mean do you really want to write about the new laundry detergent that is coming out or review another online education school?  Seriously.  Count me out, in fact count me as one of the few/many that didn’t sell out.
