Outside.in is one of my favorite websites so I’m glad to see them get some major pub on Techcrunch (hence the experiencing heavy traffic message on their site right now). Outside.in aggregates blogs and makes them searchable by tags as well as geography. So since I have a blog that focuses on San Francisco urban culture, my blog posts will show up in the San Francisco section on Outside.in. Of course the main worry here is that people will incorrectly tag their blogs, spam Outside.in with Viagra ads, and overall ruin what is a very promising website.

Why I like Outside.in

I like Outside.in, because it seems like finally someone has taken a stand and said we will not use blue and/or light blue for our main colors, like every other Web 2.0 company. I like Outside.in because prior to taking cash in recently, they were built from the ground up. Lastly, I like Outside.in because they care about design and it shows in the clean and simple design of their site.
