Web 2.0 Startup School

web 2.0So after a long hiatus of coding and programming (helping to start a new web 2.0 app with a couple buddies) I’m finally going to get back to daily regular posting. Phew, let me tell you writing articles is much less time consuming than figuring out how to write to open source code. Especially when that open source code has like one manual in existence. In my battles with Drupal (an open CMS that I’m 98% positive Reddit was based off of), I’ve learned how to create single-page aggregators (see Original Signal), a social network (see Facebook), user-generated content (see Digg), a blog network (see Xanga), and some Flickr and Del.icio.us tagging for good measure. So I figured the only kosher thing to do would be to share that knowledge. So in this next series of posts I’m going to go over how to start a Web 2.0 website and/or how to Web 2.0′ize your current website.

So whether you are an internet retailer with a website prescence (like seekairun) or an aspiring genius with an idea I’m gonna give you the lowdown on how to create a user-generated, social-networking, tagging piece of goodness.

For priming material I definitely recommend reading Mashable’s How to be an internet overnight success here.
