For everyone that doesn’t know what Netvibes is, I’m sorry for you. Just kidding, Netvibes is a make your own page content aggregator. Basically Netvibes allows you to set up your own ‘web portal’ with your favorite RSS feeds, Flickr photos, email accounts, del.icio.us tags, and other any widgets that you can find. With all the clutter on the internet (90% of websites have not been updated in 6 months) Netvibes’s personal content aggregator is my little piece of web heaven. So this is why Netvibes is the shizzle:

Top 5 Reasons to Love Netvibes:

1. Ease of Use Interface - Have you ever used an interface so easy. Adding an RSS feed is as simple as pressing add feed and then typing in the URL. Netvibes combined with the Firefox toolbar’s RSS feed button makes it super easy to get the feed URL and easier to add it to your homepage. Plus have you tried moving around feeds, it’s ajax’ian drag and drop like all web apps should be.
2. Widgets, widgets, widgets - From Flickr to digg to del.icio.us Netvibes is finally a place I can go to check everything.

3. Myspace intergation - Now that myspace is firmly implanted in our daily lives as another form of communication akin to email, this is a must for any aggregator of any kind. Thankfully Netvibes has realized this, and so they get a thumbs up for jumping on this bandwagon before it was too full.

4. Email / Gmail integration - How many of you can not check personal email at work? Here’s your secret sauce. Nuff said. How about using AIM…. You need to check out Netvibes so you can drive your sys admin crazy.
5. Tabs - I’m 100% positive that Netvibes was built and tested on Firefox because they have the best thing to hit web browsers since the back button, tabs. Also not to sound a little to consipiracy theory but have you seen the new IE 7, their add tab button is eerily familiar to the Netvibes add tab button. Same place, same wording…hmm….
