So with Amazon getting all the press with their Clickriver PPC network release, I thought it’s done time someone weigh in on anunder the radar PPC network that I use. With the job market at an all-time high and people looking to switch all the time Indeed.com decided it needed to reach as many people as it possibly could and so it created its own Job Search PPC Network. Here’s how it works:

Web Publisher Details:

1. Just like most other Adsense types you put a piece of Javascript on your website and there pops dynamically rotating ads.

2. You get paid Quarterly not monthly so you better not buy that plasma TV just yet.

3. The average PPC that I’m getting is right around $0.25 with a click-thru-rate of approximately 8.5%. Not bad when you consider that the same placement with Google Adsense was only getting a CTR of about 3%.

4. You get to customize what jobs appear on your site. That’s right finally a chance to affect what ads show on your website. If you’re a saavy publisher this allows you to do A/B testing to see what works best, what jobs get clicked on better, if it helps to show the company, etc. This ability helped me tremendously in raising my CTR.

If you’re up for trying something other than Google Adsense (though I’m not entirely sure that Google and Indeed aren’t partnered already as the Indeed Publisher interface looks eerily similar to the Google Adsense interface) I’d say give the Indeed Publisher Network a shot.
