Top Headphones Remastered

Thanks for all the responses everyone (even the ones that weren’t so nice). Anyhow I think I should start off with some disclaimers:

1. A more accurate article title would have been 10 reviews of headphones that I have owned at one time or another. I tried to give as broad an overview of headphones from top to bottom as I could given my experience. Most people will tell you that to truly know if something sounds good, you must listen for yourself.

2. I did NOT intentionally leave off, Sennheiser, Grado, AKG, Etymotic, Technics, Koss, and Pioneer. Simply put, I have not had the good graces to have owned them, so I wouldn’t feel right writing a review.

    Missed out on all the BIG (top tier) ones. The only top tiers you’ve mentioned are the Sennheiser Orhpeus and the GS-1000:

    Don’t let the Head-fi crowd get to you! you realize that we are passionate audiophiles who debate the merits of certain headphones night and day. we have expensive meets where we share gear, conduct extensive reviews and spend hundreds of dollars on cables! trying to compose a list of “top ten” headphones can only lead to headaces.
